Recently we’ve added RPKI origin validation to our filters – our own prefixes have been signed since 2017. From now on we will drop ALL prefixes with an invalid origin AS (currently that’s ~2,400 IPv4 and ~900 IPv6 prefixes).

If you think your prefixes are being filtered, please check your configuration.

In addition, we’ve also added filtering based on the Spamhaus blocklists. As with regular filter lists based on IRR, we update these lists every 6 hours.

If you encounter any issues as a result of this, don’t hesitate to contact us.

AS25595 will generally peer with anyone, with no specific traffic requirements. PNIs are currently only available at the Amsterdam Science Park. In order for AS25595 to accept your traffic, please note that strict filters are in place:

• No BGP paths with private transit or origin ASNs;
• No BGP paths with known tier-1 networks ASNs;
• Prefix filtering based on RPKI invalid origin;
• Prefix filtering based on IRR-record as agreed or as published on peeringDB;
• We can’t peer with any network that does not have up to date information in peeringDB.

Earlier this week, we presented at the SEE7 meeting in Timisoara about our new toolkit for Bird BGP, called Papageno. Papageno is a set of templates and scripts that turns Bird into a well-behaved peer in the default free zone.
